EPWP STUDENTS GRADUATE

When the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) commenced last year the 21st of November 2016, thirty- (30) Learners who had the zeal to acquire more knowledge and develop a skill in the world of construction were absorbed.  The learners reaped the fruits of their hard work and dedication on the 17th October 2017 at Standerton Town Hall.  These learners were taught skills specializing in community house building and renovations.  Twenty-two (22) Learners who championed this great skill development program were honoured on the day, “As a Municipality, we thank the department for this initiative as well as the training provider (Sejamo) and the contractor (Bituquip).  It would not have been possible without them.  As Lekwa, we encourage the learners to take advantage of this opportunity to deal with the triple challenges that we facing as a country and we express our gratitude for this partnership,” said, Mr SS Nkosi – HOD Corporate Services.  We wish these learners all the best for their future endeavours and may they achieve greater things and reach greater heights.
