He observed low water pressure which is largely caused by water leaks.

“We urge community members to take the responsibility of reporting water leaks seriously, as this plays a vital role in helping the municipality to respond swiftly to these incidents. Addressing these leaks not only preserves water but also improves pressure in high lying areas that are most affected by the leaks,” said Executive Mayor Mngemezulu.

He urged the community to report leaks to their ward committee members and by contacting the municipal customer care line: 017 712 5458.

“Your corporation is essential in our collective effort to improve service delivery,” he concluded.
