Lekwa Local Municipality Hosts Multi Women’s Caucus Program

WhatsApp Image 2025 05 27 at 15.35.11Today, 27 May 2025 Lekwa Local Municipality successfully held a Multi Women’s Caucus program at Extension 6 Community Hall in Standerton. The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss critical issues affecting men and women. The program focused on committee responsibilities, working relations with Men’s and Women’s Forum, issues that impact both Men and Women, issues on gender based violence (GBV).

The event was attended by representatives from Lekwa Men’s Forum, Lekwa Women’s Forum, Moral Regeneration, Department of Social development, Department of Health, SAPS, Pastors Fraternity, Pastor Holly.

The program was honored by the presence of the MMC for Community Safety and Security Cllr. Mapaseka Molaba together with Chairperson for Women’s Caucus Cllr. Mthimkhulu, Cllr. Selepe, Cllr. Nhlapo and Ms Galela.
