Lekwa Local Municipality will host a Pop-Up Market that is aimed at placing the spotlight on small, Medium, and Micro Enterprise (SMMEs), offering them a platform to showcase their products, network with potential buyers, and grow their market access.
The annual programme also forms part of Lekwa Local Municipality’s objective of harnessing on heritage and tourism month to unlock economic development and spin offs for SMMEs.
“The Pop-Up Market is a direct response to the need for greater visibility and access for local entrepreneurs and we are integrating it with heritage and tourism as they are a powerful engine for economic growth,” said Executive Mayor, Cllr. Sifiso Mngemezulu.
The Pop-Up Marketing will also include exhibitions from various stakeholders such as SEDFA, GSDM, Commercial Banks, SASSA, DEDT and DSAC among others.
