Lekwa Local Municipality continues to empower residents through Title Deeds Handover Programme

IMG 3526Today, the Lekwa Local Municipality continued with its ongoing Title Deeds Handover Programme, with the handing over of 50 title deeds to deserving beneficiaries.

The handover was conducted by MMC for Planning and Economic Development, Cllr. Sesana Masondo and MMC for Budget and Treasury Cllr. Thabang Motaung.

Cllr. Masondo emphasised the importance of safeguarding the title deeds, ‘’I sincerely ask that you preserve these title deeds with care, as they are crucial for the future generations to come. The title deeds are not just documents; keeping them safe ensures that the rightful ownership and history of properties are protected for those who will inherit them.”
