MEC for Public Works, Roads and Transport Mr. Thulasizwe Thomo, MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liason Mr. Jackie Macie and Lekwa LM Executive Mayor, Cllr. Sifiso Mngemezulu visited the bereaved families to offer support and condolences.
They assured the families that government is walking with them every step of this very painful and difficult journey and the entire community also mourn with them.
The leadership also used the moment to appreciate the support of the Lekwa Community and all stakeholders including emergency services since the tragic accident occurred.
