
Lekwa Local Municipality proudly bids farewell to Ms. Ilse Edwards as she enters a well-deserved retirement after more than 23 years of dedicated service.
Ms. Edwards joined Lekwa Local Municipality on 7 July 2003 as a Clerical Assistant in the Credit Control Section, where she quickly distinguished herself through her commitment, professionalism and dedication to public service.
On 14 February 2005, she was promoted to Executive Secretary to the Chief Financial Officer, a position she held with distinction until her retirement.
Throughout her more than two decades of service, Ms. Edwards provided invaluable administrative and professional support to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Her reliability, attention to detail, willingness to assist and strong work ethic contributed to the effective functioning of the municipality.
Colleagues and management remember Ms. Edwards as a hardworking, dependable and compassionate employee who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her positive attitude, professionalism and dedication made her a valued member of the Lekwa Local Municipality family.
As she begins this new chapter of her life, the Municipality extends its sincere appreciation to Ms. Edward for her 23 years of loyal and dedicated service. Her contribution to Lekwa Local Municipality and the communities it serves will be remembered and appreciated for years to come.
