
The Lekwa East Circuit proudly hosted an awards ceremony to recognise outstanding performance in the 2025 National Senior Certificate (Matric) examinations.
Teachers who achieved a 100% pass rate in their respective subjects were honoured for their dedication and commitment to academic excellence. In addition, top-performing learners were awarded certificates and trophies in recognition of their hard work and exceptional results.
The following schools were recognised for their outstanding performance: Zikhetheleni Secondary School, Qondulwazi Secondary School, Holmdene Secondary School and George Hofmeyr School.
MMC for Community Services and Safety, Cllr. Mapaseka Molaba, congratulated the learners and educators for their exceptional performance. She commended teachers for their unwavering commitment and encouraged learners to remain focused on their future goals.

The awards ceremony served as a celebration of excellence and a motivation for continued academic achievement within the circuit.
