Lekwa Local Municipality hosted municipal employees at the Standerton Town Hall for an informative employee empowerment session focusing on legal matters, including the drafting of wills, estate planning, marriage regimes, and related legal rights and responsibilities.
The programme also included the recognition of long-serving employees who have dedicated many years of service to the municipality, the programme was held under the theme “Unmasking the mystrey behind longevity and legal contracts”.
The initiative served as a platform to empower employees with essential legal knowledge, promote personal and financial wellbeing, and recognise the invaluable contribution of dedicated employees.
Addressing employees on the purpose of the day, Acting Municipal Manager Ms. Thobeka Mtshiselwa encouraged employees to remain committed to excellence, professionalism, and teamwork in carrying out their duties, emphasised that a motivated employee is key to improving service delivery.
