Lekwa Remembers Zinhle Priscilla Makhubu

Lekwa local municipality gathered at Stanwest Hall yesterday to honour the life and legacy of Ms. Zinhle Priscilla Makhubu.

The memorial service brought together her family, friends, colleagues and members of the community, united in remembering a woman who made a meaningful contribution to the lives of those around her.

Ms. Makhubu served the municipality for the past two years as a Parks and Gardens General Assistant within the Community Services and Safety Department. During her time in service, she demonstrated dedication, compassion and commitment to her work and to the community she served.

Through her daily responsibilities, she contributed to the maintenance and beautification of the municipality’s public spaces. Her colleagues remember her as a kind, humble and hardworking person who carried out her duties with dedication and took pride in her work.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Makhubu touched the lives of those around her through her kindness, generosity and warm spirit. She had a special way of making people feel valued and respected, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

The memorial service was a reminder of the impact she made during her time with Lekwa Local Municipality. The heartfelt tributes shared by her colleagues, friends and community members reflected the deep respect and appreciation held for her.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the life she lived and the contribution she made to our municipality. Her dedication to community service and the memories she created with those around her will remain part of the Lekwa family.
