SANRAL Showers Love and Care on the Aged

IMG 2460In a heartwarming display of community spirit, SANRAL and its partners—Blueprint and Ankole in partnership with Lekwa Local Municipality, donated over 80 blankets as gifts to senior citizens at the Vukuzimele Club for the Aged Centre today, December 3, 2024.

This handover was led by MMC for Technical Services Cllr. Litheko Marago. It was aimed to emphasise the importance of old age centres and caring for the senior citizens. The blankets will bring warmth and comfort to the elderly residents, promoting a sense of dignity and wellbeing.

MMC Litheko Marago stated: “As the Vukuzimele Club for the Aged Centre provides a safe and supportive environment for elders, offering various services and activities to promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being, these gifts demonstrates commitment to caring for the elderly members of our community.

Working together with SANRAL, Blueprint, and Ankole showcases the power of partnerships in making a positive impact on the community”, he said.
